Description

Our Branding area is seeking a talented and passionate Digital Designer & Motion Designer to work closely with the Branding and Creative group to deliver the best experiences worldwide in the most engaging and innovative ways.

The role of the Digital & Motion Designer is to assist in the creation and development of motion graphic assets and design delivery, as well as being part of finding new opportunities for improvement to ultimately strengthen our Brand on a global scale for the 2022-23 edition of The Ocean Race.

The main responsibilities are the following:

  • Create under the branding instructions, and develop motion graphic assets for broadcasting, and social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook amongst others), based on the branding resources
  • Quickly assemble edits and proactively experiment with different versions, exploring multiple directions
  • Create polished final edits with colouring, sound mix, motion graphics and captions
  • Ensure the correct implementation of graphic design, guidelines and The Ocean Race brand identity
  • Support art direction in creative campaigns and projects
  • Race brand identity guidelines when supporllng hosl porls teans and slakeholders
  • and The Ocean Race staff in any malerials produced;
  • Identify exciting video & motion graphics trends and opportunities
  • Design and production of materials linked to the branding department
  • Report and work closely with the Head of BrandCollaborate, Junior Designers + Video Editor profiles
  • Identify opportunities for the optimization of processes and workflows
  • Provide support to any other departments of The Ocean Race requested from time to time like events, hospitality…

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
  • Work experience in a creative or digital marketing/branding agency will be also valued;
  • Proactivity and ability to work in a highly demanding, fast-moving environment;
  • Teamwork attitude.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English;
  • EU national or valid EU resident card;
