🎯 Your Mission

As Fan Experience Manager, you will step up to lead, design, and scale our premium, ticketed public experiences within our free-to-access Ocean Live Parks. You will transition a successful foundational program into a fully realized, commercially viable Fan Experience strategy.

Beyond managing and executing existing initiatives such as the Pit Lane tours from concept to final report, you will be responsible for building comprehensive business cases, researching and pitching new experiential concepts, and executing approved projects from the ground up. When not driving the fan experience program, you will provide vital operational support to the broader Events area.


πŸš€ What You’ll Be Doing


  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Take full ownership of approved concepts from presentation to execution. This includes managing budgets, administrative tasks, logistics, and timelines.
  • Tour Execution & Operations: Supervise and personally deliver parts of the operations globally. Guide public but also recruit, hire, and manage local guides, collect visitor feedback, and compile comprehensive post-event reports.
  • Content & Training: Define tour scripts and train local guides/volunteers to deliver high-quality, impactful storytelling centered around the race’s legacy, technology, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Strategy & Business Development: Own the business case for the Fan Experience program; conduct market research, perform business studies, present various financial scenarios, and ensure the entire program maintains a highly profitable and sustainable business model.
  • Program Expansion: Source, design, and pitch brand-new visitor experiences to maximize engagement and enhance the value of our public offerings within Ocean Live Parks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Guest Experience and Commercial Relationships areas to tailor premium experiences for key stakeholders, including VIPs, partners, corporate clients, and sponsors.
  • Events Area Support: Act as a flexible resource for the broader Events department; provide hands-on operational support within Ocean Live Parks including assisting with the Cockpit activation.
  • General Support: Pitch in to support other departments whenever required to ensure the event's overall success.

Minimum requirements

  • Proven experience in event management, fan engagement, or operations within sports or large-scale public events.
  • Strong business acumen with experience creating business cases, conducting project feasibility studies, and presenting pitches to stakeholders.
  • A proactive entrepreneur mindsetβ€”someone eager to build programs from scratch rather than just maintaining them.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with everyone from the general public to corporate VIPs.
  • Highly adaptable team player ready to jump into hands-on event support whenever needed.

  • Availability to travel internationally during events
  • Ability to be based in or relocate to Alicante (Spain)
