Description
The People Department of The Ocean Race has as its main focus the Care of The Ocean Race Family!
Being part of the People Department, the People Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative work of the department and will have the opportunity to build the People Strategy of The Ocean Race by participating in its continuous creation or being responsible for certain areas.
This role is focused on a Human Resources technical profile but it can also be an amazing opportunity for someone with a background in Human Resources as an entry-level role.
The main duties and responsibilities will be the following:
- Responsible for direct contact with the labor advisors ("asesoría") with a special focus on registrations, cancelations, modifications of contracts, elaboration of contracts, payrolls...
- Participation in the recruitment
- Elaboration of Job Offers
- Responsible for the implementation of the onboarding program
- Management of the People's software: absences, time registration...
- Participation in the elaboration of the Employee Handbook and different Human Resources Policies
- Responsible for the Prevention Risk Labour area
- Participation in the design of team-building journeys or activities
- Participation in the legal area of the labour relations
- Watch over the work environment and take care of The Ocean Race Family!

This position will be based at The Ocean Race Headquarters in Alicante, Spain.
Minimum requirements
- Human Resources' studies or experience in a labour advisor company or in a human resources department
- Knowledge of the Spanish Labour Law
- Fluent English and Spanish written and spoken are essential
- Hands-on experience with Excel
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Time management
- Multitask ability
- Organization skills
- Stress management
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Live or be able to move to Alicante
- EU national or ability to acquire necessary EU working permits.
