Description

The role of the Social Media and Digital Analyst is to support the Marketing Analyst Manager in analyzing and reporting social media and digital data.

It will include but not be limited to the following areas:

  • Analyze social media data to understand profiles and sentiment.
  • Monitor and analyze traffic activities to suggest strategies, tactics, etc. for audience and engagement growth
  • Monitor, analyze and report data from the website, APP, tracker, game…
  • Deliver regular reports on performance insights to stakeholders, teams, and upper management
  • Data analysis of various projects and ad hoc requests.
  • Develop new data sources and data management tools to ensure the most effective methods are used
  • Produce visuals (charts, graphs), dashboards, and presentations for summary trend statistics
  • Help to identify gaps in the overall data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements
  • Help analyze and report traditional media and consumer insight data
  • Provide support to any other departments of The Ocean Race requested from time to time like events, hospitality...

We are seeking incorporation asap. The role will be a full-time position based in Alicante until July 2023.

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Specialized studies in Social Media
  • At least two years of digital and social media experience analysis is required
  • Strong understanding of digital media, marketing, and web metrics
  • Experience with digital/social analytics systems such as Meltwater, Blinkfire, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Experience presenting analytics reports in a clear, effective, and dynamic manner
  • Stay ahead of Analytics industry trends and developments.
  • Experience with Chinese Social Media Platforms will be a plus.
  • Experience with insights analytics systems such as GWI will be a plus.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English is essential.
  • English native speaker will be plus.
  • Sailing background and/or knowledge, plus
  • Sports motivated/drive

  • EU national or ability to, in a short period of time, acquire necessary EU working permit.
